The accident happened when a vehicle ran a red light. When the vehicle ran the red light, it entered the intersection of Washington Road and 22nd Avenue. While in the intersection, the vehicle collided with a vehicle that was traveling northbound. The force of this collision, resulted in one of the vehicles colliding with a third vehicle that was traveling east. Tragically, the driver of the vehicle that was traveling east was killed as a result of the injuries sustained in the collision. Law enforcement officials are continuing to investigate the accident. The driver and a passenger of the vehicle that ran the red light were taken into police custody following the accident.
