Rock Salt Lamps Recalled

With the holiday season coming to an end, many people have begun using the gifts that they received. One of the season’s most popular gifts was rock salt lamps because they are a nice decocration and are believed to have some health benefits. Some rock salt lamps have been recalled recently.

The recalled rock salt lamps that have been recalled were from the Lumiere brand. The recall comes after the discovery that the dimmer switch and the outlet plug have the potential to overheat. Because of the potential of overheating, the lamps cause shock and fire hazards.

The lamps that are being recalled have a pink color. They are either mounted on a wooden base or in a black metal basket. The recalled lamps were sold in black boxes with a picture of the lamp on the front.

The names of the lamps included in the recall are the Rock of Gibraltar Lamp, Carnival of Lights and Basket of Rocks. These products were sold at Michaels stores across the country from July 2016 – November 2016. They were sold at prices between $15 and $30.

There have not been any reported injuries related to the recalled rock salt lamps thus far.
