Martin Law Office is excited to announce the recipient of the 2024 Martin Law Office Spring Scholarship!

Meet our 2024 Martin Law Office Spring Scholarship recipient, William Tucknott. Here is a little background information about William.
My name is William Tucknott and I am a senior at Franklin High School. I plan on majoring in International Relations and Political Science next fall. I have been very involved at Franklin High School: I am on the Varsity Swim Team and my favorite stroke is backstroke, and have been a member in Track and Field and Mock Trial.
I am also the captain of our Model UN team. We simulate countries resolving issues and reacting to crises. Our club has grown significantly, and I will definitely be joining a MUN team in college.
As President of the Franklin ECO Club, I help the school’s largest club. We are responsible for clearing invasive species, keeping our greenhouse intact, and more. When we are not serving the community, we are rock climbing, canoeing, or practicing our archery skills. If I am not volunteering with the ECO club, you can find me at the Franklin Library shifting shelves or cleaning DVDs (assuming I am not there to read).
I am a part of the forensics speaking club and have found great success in persuasive speaking. I love forensics and I hope I will be able to use the public speaking skills I have learned here throughout my life.
These experiences in high school, in addition to my great teachers and counselors, have inspired me to pursue a career in diplomacy. As an ambassador, I can combine my love for communication, travel, service, and problem-solving. I cannot wait for the future ahead of me!
