A public hearing will take place on July 2, 2015 to decide whether or not Fiat Chrysler failed to remedy the safety defects in the 20 recalls. The hearing is set after The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s ongoing investigation of Chrysler recalls starting in 2013. Some concerns the NHTSA have center around whether or not Fiat Chrysler notified the owners of the vehicles as well as the NHTSA in a timely manner, whether they remedied the recalls In a timely manner, if they accurately notified the NHTSA of the recalls and if Fiat Chrysler adequately administered/executed the remedies.
