Lyft, a ride service, is popular these days. Many people are booking rides with Lyft as opposed to hailing the traditional taxi cab. It is common for the driver and passengers to strike up a conversation as they make their way to their destination.

Recently, a Lyft driver in Phoenix, was having a conversation with his passenger, a grandmother. During their concersation, the passenger informed her driver that he was driving her to buy a car from someone that she had found on Craigslist. She also informed the driver that she was carrying $4800 to pay for the car.

This made the Lyft driver a little nervous because the woman was carrying a large sum of money and she would be meeting the individual selling the car by herself. He did not want anything bad to happen to his passenger, so he decided to shut of his Lyft app and go with his passenger as she went to purchase the vehicle.

Once they met with the individual selling the car, the Lyft driver inspected the car and took it for a test drive. He even negotiated the price of the car down $300.

A few days after the purchase of the vehicle, the Lyft driver and passenger were reunited. The passenger gave the Lyft driver a $500 tip to thank him for helping her out.
