Car accidents can have serious consequences, such as property damage and injuries. Because of the potential of serious consequences from a car accident, it is important that drivers ensure that they are practicing safe driving to help keep themselves and others safe on the roadways. One important way to help keep the roadways safe is to follow all traffic laws and regulations. Recently, an accident occurred in Milwaukee where a traffic law was violated.
The accident occurred on Thursday, October 8, 2020 near North 107th Street and West Bradley Road around 1:20 pm. Law enforcement officials responded to the scene of the accident. Upon investigation into the accident, law enforcement officials believe that a car ran a red light. When the car ran the red light, it crashed into a van that was hauling tar. The force of the collision caused the van to roll over and spill the tar. Thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
This accident demonstrates the importance of practicing safe driving every time that we drive. Safe driving includes avoiding distracted driving, driving at a speed in accordance with the speed limit and weather conditions, and following all traffic laws. By ensuring that we practice safe driving, we can help keep the roadways safer for everyone and help to reduce the number of accidents that occur on Wisconsin roadways. When traffic laws are violated, it increases the risk of being involved in an automobile accident. If all drivers practice safe driving, the roadways will be kept safer for all and the likelihood of being involved in an accident will be decreased.
