It happened near North 27th Street and West Auer Avenue. The accident occurred when the pedestrian was crossing the street. A vehicle struck the pedestrian and then fled the scene of the collision. Law enforcement officials responded to the scene of the accident. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital as he sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. The pedestrian is listed as being in critical condition.

Law enforcement officials were able to locate the motor vehicle that was involved in the collision. Unfortunately, when the vehicle was located it was found unoccupied. The City of Milwaukee Police Department is still investigating the accident and is looking for suspects that were involved in the collision.
