Law enforcement officials state that a man was struck in the roadway by a vehicle. The vehicle did not remain on the scene after the collision with the pedestrian. Law enforcement officials responded to the scene of the collision and the pedestrian was transported to the local hospital to receive treatment for the injuries that were sustained in the collision. Tragically, the pedestrian passed away as a result of the injuries that were sustained when he was struck by the vehicle. Law enforcement officials are continuing to search for the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian.
