Martin Law Office is excited to announce the recipients of the Martin Law Office Scholarship 2020!

Due to the high quality of applications and the applicants’ dedication to making a positive impact in their communities, we decided to award two scholarships this year. We want to thank all who applied for the scholarship for taking the time to apply as well as all their service to their communities.

Meet our first recipient, Carson Wagner! Here is a little about Carson:

Carson Wagner will be attending the University of Alabama to major in Mechanical Engineering and has concurrently been accepted into the Manderson Graduate School of Business to pursue an accelerated MBA. In high school, he was active for four years on the speech team, acted in or directed 11 school plays, and competed at the state level in Skills USA. He also volunteered over 315 hours at the Indian Prairie Public Library in Darien, IL, where he was simultaneously employed last summer as a Teen Intern developing and implementing STEAM programs for 72 at-risk youth.

Meet our second recipient, Cynthia Ortega! Here is a little about Cynthia:

Cynthia Ortega graduated from UW-Milwaukee in January 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in English. While earning her undergraduate degree, she worked full time as an events coordinator and completed two internships – one in external affairs and one as a Spanish translator. In addition to attending school full time and working, Cynthia was also an active volunteer with the Kitchen Cabinet organization, which helps to provide meals to families and sponsors events in the Milwaukee community. Additionally, Cynthia was involved with the Hispanic Civic Participation Committee, where she helped create a bilingual booklet about the importance of voting and civic participation. Cynthia will be attending Marquette University Law School in the fall.

We want to wish the recipients the best of luck in their future endeavors!
