What Children’s Toy Has Been Recalled?

We expect the products that we buy and consume to be safe for our use and consumption. Unfortunately, sometimes the products we buy can pose risks to our health or safety. When this happens, it is common for manufacturers to issue a recall so that consumers are aware of the risks and are able to take the necessary steps to keep themselves safe. Recently, Target has issued a recall for some of their toys.

Target has issued a voluntary recall for almost half a million car toys. The recall comes after the multiple reports that the wheels on the toys can become detached and pose a choking hazard to the children who are playing with them. The toy cars that are included in the recall are called “Bullseye’sPlayground” toys.

The toy cars affected by the recall were sold in packs of eight cars. They were sold from October 2018 through November 2018. The cars were sold both online and in the Target stores. They were priced at $1 per car or $8 for the pack. The eight pack included a caboose, Santa sleigh, ice cream/food truck, train, police car, fire truck, taxi and digger. The cars were manufactured in China.

Target is urging parents to immediately take the toys away from their children because of the potential choking hazard. Consumers who bring the toys into a Target store will be able to receive a full refund.
