The car company, Mercedes-Benz, will soon be issuing a voluntary recall of more than 300,000 of their vehicles. The recall comes after the discovery that there is a potential fire hazard.
The recall will affect Mercedes-Benz vehicles all over the United States. The car company discovered that a problem that affects part of the engine can cause electrical fires in the vehicles. The problem in the engine has been connected to 35 instances of car fires throughout the country. There have not been any reports of injuries or deaths resulting from vehicle fires.
The recall will affect C and E Class vehicles from the company. The recall will also include CLA, GLA and GLC vehicles.
The official recall of the vehicles will come from the company within the next 60 days. If your vehicle is one of the vehicles included in the recall, owners should bring the car to a dealership, where the issue will be fixed. The company says that the repair will take about one hour to finish.
