Child Swing Recall

A major producer of toys for children, Little Tikes, is issuing a recall for toddler swings. The recall comes after the discovery that there is a potential for the swings to break, which could result in the child falling from the swing.

There have been 140 reports of the Little Tikes 2-in-1 Snug’n Secure swings breaking. The swings are pink. Along with the 140 of the swings breaking, 39 of the reported broken swings resulted in injuries to the children that were using the swings.

The swings affected by the recall are model number 615573. Consumers can find the model number molded on the back of the swing. The swings included in the recall were sold between November 2009 and May 2014 and were sold at Walmart, Toys R Us and other retailers across the country.

If you own one of the recalled swings, you should stop using it immediately. Consumers are encouraged to contact Little Tikes to receive a credit to use on another Little Tikes product?
