Chicken Patty Recall

A recall has been issued for chicken patties produced by OSI Industries, LLC. Over all about 21,000 pound of chicken products from the company are included in the recall. The recall comes after the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service found that the chicken patties may contain plastic.

The product that is being recalled is On-Cor Chicken Patties Microwaveable. The chicken patties included in the recall were produced on August 5th, 2016. The size of the packages of the patties affected are the 35 ounce size as well as the 2 pounds and 3 ounce size.

The packages of chicken patties that are being recalled were shipped to grocery stores and other places where food is sold in Wisconsin, Kansas, Minnesota, Kentucky, Ohio and North Carolina.

The company has recieved complaints that blue plastic was in the chicken patties. So far there have not been any reports of negative reactions to consuming the chicken patties.

If you have some of these chicken patties you should not eat them. You should either throw them out or return them to the store.
