Declining Gas Prices

October 24 , 2016 | Car Accidents

The average price for a gallon of gas in Milwaukee was $2.16 per gallon, which was lower than the national average price of $2.23 per gallon. Gas prices in Milwaukee have fallen almost six cents this past week.

According to GasBubby, declining gas prices are typical for the month of October. Over the past four years gas prices have decreased an average of 20 cents per gallon in the moth of October.

This October, gas prices have not declined as the usually do. Gas prices right now are a little higher than they were at the beginning of the month. A possible cause of this is problems at some of the oil refineries in the United States. The refineries are experiencing lower oil output than usual.

Less expensive gas leads to more people traveling the roadways. Because of the high volume of traffic on the roadways, it is very important to pay close attention while driving.

You can make not only your commute, but others commutes safer by focusing on the road. Also make sure that you eliminate distractions such as your cell phone and obey the speed limit. By doing these things, we can make the roadways safer in the month of October.
